Alecia Nugent Garners her 4th SPBGMA Female Vocalist Of The Year Award
- Nashville, TN / February 6, 2011 - Alecia Nugent has experienced an array of successes, following the release of her critically acclaimed "Hillbilly Goddess" album in 2009. The CD is her third release on Rounder Records, and is her most successful album to date, debuting in the Top 10 on the Bluegrass album charts, and maintaining a Top 10 single for the better part of a year. To add to her achievements, Alecia was just named Female Vocalist of The Year for the fourth time at the 2011 SPBGMA Awards in Nashville. 2011 continues to be an exciting year for Alecia as she continues to tour in support of "Hillbilly Goddess."This summer she will return to the studio with Grammy award-winning producer Carl Jackson to record her fourth project for Rounder.
